Dear Valued Customers,
In preparation to implement IDN for .my domain names by Q4 2010, .my
DOMAIN REGISTRY has opened an IDN Public Testbed to allow the public
to experience registering your domain name in 3 languages (Jawi,
Chinese and Tamil). It gives users the opportunity to see how IDN is
implemented.
IDN stands for Internationalized Domain Names (IDN). IDN are domain
names that contains Unicode characters and it is no longer restricted
A to Z. In other words, IDN contain letters with diacritics e.g:
(façade) as required by many European languages or characters drawn
from non-Latin scripts such as Jawi, Tamil and Chinese.
We would like to invite you to try out the IDN Public Testbed. It is
open to everyone and there are no charges involved when you register
an IDN.
How do you participate in this IDN Public Test bed? Follow the steps below:
1.  Go to our IDN Public Testbed website at http://idn.domainregistry.my.
2.  Select the IDN registration and please read the terms of use(IDN
Registration >
     Term of Use) before you register.
3.  Click proceed (IDN Registration > Testbed Registration > Proceed)
to register.
4.  Once registered, please check your email to activate the account
5.  Once activated, user can login with registered detail.
6.  Click in the input box and then press F8 for MultiLanguage Keyboard in Jawi,
     Chinese and Tamil.
7.  Your domain name will appear in punycode (xn- -) and you need to fill in the
     Registrant details, Technical Contact and Domain NSSet.
8. Click on submit form to complete the process.
The IDN Public Testbed will end on the 15th of November 2010. Please
go to IDN FAQ at http://idn.domainregistry.my for more information.
